First Baptist Church of Fairport is affiliated with the American Baptist Churches of the Rochester Genesee Region. As a member of the American Baptist Churches we are called by God through Jesus Christ to be a community of faith--empowered by the Holy Spirit to live as witnesses and agents of God's love and justice in the church and in the world; vital in worship; dynamic in proclamation; effective in teaching; loving in fellowship; faithful in stewardship and compassionate in service.

* The building is handicap accessible with a full size elevator and the sanctuary is equipped with a hearing aid loop. Worshipers needing transportation may call the church office for arrangements.
Worship Service
The service provides a shared experience for all ages as we come together to praise our Savior Jesus Christ through song, prayer and meaningful messages.
The Sacrament of Holy Communion is served on the first Sunday of every month (in September it is the second Sunday) and is open to all Christian believers.

Christian Education
Our goal is to encourage and provide educational opportunities to further aid your walk with Christ.
Children
Each Sunday the children are invited to come forward and hear an inspirational story, followed by the Children's Church for 3 years old to 3rd grade students.
Youth
The youth fellowship groups share in the total life of the church and meet in the youth rooms for study and fellowship.
(4th grade through 12th grade classes)
Adult Bible Discussion Group
The adult classes talk about the Bible and a variety of issues that are needed to further spiritual life.
Christian Fellowship
Church wide events are held frequently throughout the year and include church dinners, special services, picnics and a variety of fellowship groups.
Women's Christian Book Discussion Group
This group is intent on providing an opportunity to study together and to support one another in their Christian walk.
Men's Group
Operates a food booth during Fairport's Canal Days in June. Participates in service projects for the church and community.
